Swedish is a Northern language spoken by more than 10 million people. Swedish is closely related to Danish and Norwegian, since they all have their roots in the Old Scandinavian. In the United States, large ethnic groups have spoken Swedish throughout the years, and still almost 70000 people speak Swedish in the United States.
